Bonnie provides therapeutic counselling services and psychotherapy for people with a broad range of mental health challenges. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, non-judgemental and trauma-informed. Bonnie values therapeutic presence, connectedness, community resilience and welcomes all forms of diversity. Bonnie takes a holistic, integrative and embodied approach, attending to the connection of mind, body, environment and psyche to mental health and well-being.
As a Somatic Experiencing practitioner and certified Brainspotting therapist, Bonnie understands that overwhelming experiences can’t be processed through conversation alone. She wholeheartedly believes that weaving brain and body-based mindfulness interventions into therapy, with the support of the therapeutic relationship, can help stabilise and process traumatic experiences safely.
Bonnie believes that everyone has the innate capacity to heal. She is
passionate about guiding and empowering people to reconnect with their inner healing wisdom.

The fee for a 60-minute individual consultation is $190.
Bonnie's services can be accessed privately (without a referral).
Medicare rebate is available if referred by a GP on a Mental Health Care Plan. Private health Insurance: Bupa, Defence Health, Medibank and Teachers Health.
Bonnie’s clinical practice is informed by her training in a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Brainspotting.
Bonnie is a trauma-informed therapist who specialises in supporting people who are recovering from trauma. She has specialised training and extensive experience working with trauma survivors, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and cross-cultural mental health as a senior clinician in community settings.
Bonnie is deeply inspired by her trauma work with refugees who teach her about loss, vulnerability and resilience. Bonnie speaks English and Cantonese. She works with adults in an individual setting.
Bonnie is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker as well as Clinical Social Worker. Following her accreditation, Bonnie studied Global Mental Health-Trauma and Recovery Postgraduate Certificate, Harvard Medical School.
Bonnie completed the 3-year Somatic Experiencing Training. She is a Somatic Experiencing practitioner and certified Brainspotting therapist. Bonnie also completed the certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapists (CPAT), Mind Medicine Australia.
Bonnie is a trauma-informed Clinical Supervisor and is available for providing supervision for mental health professionals and community workers.
