We are so excited at Heart Place to launch our Community, Art & Culture program. heartplace.community
Here we will offer opportunities to create culture, share culture and build bridges of understanding through art, photography, music, song, storytelling, community gathering, sharing of food, movement and dance.
This program is vital to our overall Vision & Mission.
Our intention through this program and other Heart Place programs is to strengthen our capacity for compassionate listening. Our capacity to hold different perspectives, yet come together to effect the healing and change needed to adjust to a rapidly changing planet and create a socially just world.
The Arts and humanities are so very significant at this time in history. Let us value our artists and musicians, our poets and deep reflective 'thinkers' and together create the space to express what seeks to be felt and shared, the inner artist within each and everyone one of us.
Have you a project you would like to share? Our space is perfect intimate exhibitions, brainstorming gatherings, explorative workshops. Whatever we can imagine and create together.
Email Heartplace. We want to hear from you.
See below for current events, classes & workshops.
Coming Storytelling, Body Mapping, Dance & more. Community Cafe
Together through exploring art and culture we deepen relationship to our bodies, each other and the land. Modern Science now recognises the co-regulation that happens when we sing together, move together, and share stories as one of the most effective ways to heal and connect.
Tuning Out the Noise
Part 1 of The Still Small Voice Within – A Soundful Experience Series
Find Stillness to Hear Your Inner Voice
We live in a world that never stops talking.
Notifications, deadlines, scrolling, traffic, opinions, obligations—noise upon noise, constantly pulling our focus outward. And somewhere beneath it all, your true voice—the one that knows, the one that cares—gets drowned out.
This first session is an invitation to pause the chaos and finally listen.
In Tuning Out the Noise, we begin the Soundful Experience journey by surfacing the mental, emotional, and environmental distractions that have become the background hum of daily life. Through deep grounding frequencies, raw immersive soundscapes, and vibrational techniques drawn from the Soundful Data Set—including binaural beats, isochronic tones, and Solfeggio frequencies—we create a powerful container for clarity to emerge.
This isn’t just a sound bath. It’s a sonic excavation.
You’ll lie back in a curated sonic field designed to gently vibrate through the body and mind, bringing buried tension, thought loops, and emotional noise to the surface. As you listen, you’ll start to separate yourself from the noise—witnessing it without getting lost in it.
You’ll leave this session feeling:
Grounded and present in your body
More aware of your internal noise patterns
Reconnected with a sense of calm spaciousness
Ready to continue the deeper journey back to your intuitive voice
This session lays the foundation for the full four-part Soundful Experience series, The Still Small Voice Within, but you’re welcome to attend as a standalone session if you're simply seeking space, presence, and sonic renewal.

Community Chai & Chat
Community Chai & Chat is a tradition of the Home of Yoga carried forward into our community life at Heart Place. For Decades we have met Saturday's 9.30am following our 8am Yoga class sharing Chai, treats, conversation & laughter.
All Welcome.
Always on display is the Act-Belong-Commit sign.
Our Chai is made with Sam Weinstein's recipe.
New Date Coming
A slow food feast is a community celebration where we cook our own food & bring it along to share.
We all need a little more slow in our lives, our nervous systems are happier for it & our tummies!
See Below for our Slow Zone Poster & Handout
Slow Food Feasts often have different themes. The picture above of our last Celebration of slow & food was around Hummus in all its yummy variety.
