We are so excited at Heart Place to launch our Community, Art & Culture program. heartplace.community

Here we will offer opportunities to create culture, share culture and build bridges of understanding through art, photography, music, song, storytelling, community gathering, sharing of food, movement and dance.

This program is vital to our overall Vision & Mission.

Our intention through this program and other Heart Place programs is to strengthen our capacity for compassionate listening. Our capacity to hold different perspectives, yet come together to effect the healing and change needed to adjust to a rapidly changing planet and create a socially just world.

The Arts and humanities are so very significant at this time in history. Let us value our artists and musicians, our poets and deep reflective 'thinkers' and together create the space to express what seeks to be felt and shared, the inner artist within each and everyone one of us.

Have you a project you would like to share? Our space is perfect intimate exhibitions, brainstorming gatherings, explorative workshops. Whatever we can imagine and create together.

A Journey into Soundfulness

Soundful Live is a transformative sonic experience that blends advanced sound modelling techniques with ancient sound healing principles. Attendees are free to interact, sit, sway, dance, sing and hum as they immerse in the Soundful Experience creating space for profound introspection and inner peace.

Schedule:

Chai 6pm,

Music will start at 6:30pm (3 parts opening- grounding, middle- presence, end-release. )

There will be a short meditation at the start and at the end.

A few Minutes silence after each piece.

Live Soundful Experiences

Are reflections of real life exploring deepest of emotions & our shared humanity. Delicately woven into soundscapes that invite us to play in the depths of ourselves & each other with acceptance & love.

Sam Cutri is renowned for his transformative compositions & innovative sound practices, an award-winning composer, producer & educator with over 35 years of experience.

Community Chai & Chat

Community Chai & Chat

Community Chai & Chat is a tradition of the Home of Yoga carried forward into our community life at Heart Place. For Decades we have met Saturday's 9.30am following our 8am Yoga class sharing Chai, treats, conversation & laughter.

All Welcome.

Always on display is the Act-Belong-Commit sign.

Our Chai is made with Sam Weinstein's recipe.

A slow food feast is a community celebration where we cook our own food & bring it along to share.

We all need a little more slow in our lives, our nervous systems are happier for it & our tummies!
